TV Tuesday

The other day a fourth grade girl came in asking about   Full House  books and it kind of made my day. I asked her if she was looking for an updated series (the books I read are at least fifteen years old) since I read these books when I was in fourth grade; in fact I never thought tween aged girls these days would find any interest in a show like  Full House . I was all about reading the Stephanie Series , P.S. Friends Forever  was hands down my favorite. I'm so checking if this show is on Netflix this weekend!! Happy Friday :) Post by Sarah   (image via  amazon)

I never got into the original  Queer Eye For The Straight Guy   mostly because I was in high school and college and I just didn't watch a ton of television then. And I only got into the reboot because a coworker was praising the show last week (and said the guys were super good looking). She told me make sure you have tissues, it will make you cry. So last week after a particularly long day, I binged the first four episodes. My coworker was right, I teared up every single episode. Despite being uncomfortable and awkward the guys have no problem opening up on screen with the men they are making over. One of my favorit...

In an effort to discuss books widely, (and the fact there are three of us contributing to the blog) we will try our best to stick to the monthly schedule of topics we would like to dive deeper into, starting off with TV Tuesday. This will include television shows that are loosely based on books or shows we just really like but we'll try keeping it bookish related. I became infatuated with Damon  from The Vampire Diaries (the show) and the twisted teen hit, Pretty Little Liars . Both of which are based on popular young adult series. My sister is trying to get me started on Riverdale (from the Archie Comics ) , but I can't binge twelve different shows at one time. Side Note: how does The WB capture teen life so well ?! They've been doing it for twenty years and every single show nails it! Which leads us to our first heroine on this Tuesday, do you have a favorite television character that is actually based on a character from a book?  A few weeks ago I came ac...
